Boarding

We offer outdoor board with a variety of herds.  We have a dedicated gelding paddock, dedicated mare paddock, a mixed "low in the pecking order" herd, a mini horse herd/paddock, and a mixed herd for horses that frequently leave the property to compete

We have large turnout fields, a full set of extreme cowboy obstacles,  on property trails, a large outdoor arena (220x150), a round pen, and onsite cattle, plans are in the works for an indoor arena.

We host an in barn cattle sorting series, weekly roping practices for breakaway, team and ranch roping,  we host on site ranch roping shows as well as extreme cowboy races.

Horses are in smaller winter paddocks in the horrible winter months, all horses have access to a round bale all winter and as needed in the summer months.  Most of our turnout fields are substantial and have a lot of grass per horse!    Water tanks are heated in the winter

Boarders supply their own grain, however we can bring in your horse and feed daily for an additional charge of 1.50 per day

Our hours are pretty flexible, and run 7am to 10 pm in summer and 8am to 9 pm in winter.  

We have stalls available for horses that become injured or have a lay up and need stall rest.  Details of this can be discussed as needed with barn manager

We can accommodate cushings horses with a dry paddock and can administer meds daily as needed for horses with medical issues 

Rates

Outdoor Board

Board rates are $225.00 plus hst per month for outdoor board plus cost of hay.  

Example:  Susie has 2 horses in the mare paddock where 10 bales of hay was used at $60 per bale.  So her paddock had 10 x 60.00 = 600.00 and has 7 horses in the paddock so her cost would be  10bales x60.00/bale = 600 divided by 7 horses = $85.72 per horse x 2 horses = 171.44   (so her total for hay would be $171.44 both horses for the month)
